Her work in the world of Social Responsibility ( SR ) and her drive have made her become the current Secretary of Equality and Inclusion and Coordinator of the Cabinet of Equality for All People in the Government of the State of Nuevo León; This being only part of Martha Herrera's great career. Martha Herrera's career: An example of empowerment Herrera is characterized by being passionate about sustainable development and social transformation. Although Nuevo León is the state with the lowest poverty rate (24%), there are nearly one and a half million people living in moderate poverty and more than 100,000 in extreme poverty.

Which is a considerable challenge throughout Martha Herrera's entire career, which is why she seeks to eliminate the root of the problem, beyond providing welfare help.
