The train station is packed with people desperately trying to catch a train to Poland or the Czech Republic. Many sleep at the station because the accommodation is saturated or because they cannot pay the prices of hotels and apartments, which in many cases have doubled. After : Chronicle on National Radio of Spain from Lviv (Lviv) Ukraine, by Aurora Moreno. One is finishing breakfast and chokes on the toast. Are we really human beings? Or are we really just primates with weapons that allow us to destroy our fellow humans better and better? What kind of world do we want to build when what is scarce increases in price at the expense of people's needs? It's the market, friend! It's the economy, stupid! Are we not capable of looking for another relationship framework.

Not even when our fellow citizens, driven by panic, are forced to flee? Is it legal for someone to profit from their pain and terror because accommodation is scarce? Is this always going to be Solomon Islands Email List our way of dealing with scarcity, letting those who have the most money be the ones who are saved, those who enjoy privileges? Can money overcome feelings, our humanity? It's the market, friend! It's the economy, stupid! Russia announces a ceasefire and the opening of two humanitarian corridors I feel a slight retch. It is nothing more than a sentence in a chronicle of almost two minutes. But what a phrase: “they cannot pay the prices of hotels and apartments that in many cases have doubled.” It's not war anymore. It is no longer the megalomania of world leaders determined to impose their will by force.

It is no longer the will of arms companies to sell bombs for , euros. It is another human being, an owner of accommodation in the right place and at the right time, who profits from the need of other human beings. It's the market, friend! It's the economy, stupid! I feel like they're shouting that in my ear. That humanity has based its relationship on a model that, instead of sharing what is scarce, profits from hoarding. There are still those who ask why I don't like the capitalist system, why I consider it unworthy of humanity. By the way, demagogues such as “welcome a Ukrainian into your home” or “well, you live in a capitalist system” are a correlate of: It's the market, friend! It's the economy, stupid! Ukraine as a warning for sailors The pressing urgency is to stop the war. The utopian urgency is to establish total disarmament.
