We can say that thermal comfort is the sensation that people experience when they do not feel cold or heat with respect to the environment in which they live or carry out their activity, that is, they perceive a feeling of satisfaction with the thermal environment. It has been proven that carrying out certain professional activities in thermally uncomfortable environments can increase the risk of workplace accidents. In this sense, various studies on health and safety suggest that we can speak of a work environment with “reasonable comfort” when at least % of the occupants who carry out their work in said environment consider the ambient temperature as comfortable.
